How does it Work?
The i-Know It quiz engine runs in the background while you use your computer for
other tasks. At predefined intervals the i-Know It engine will present you with
either a verse reference and it's text (in Teach Me mode) or ask you for the
text of a verse (in Quiz Mode).
In Quiz mode, if you get the answer correct, the window goes away and you are
not interupted again until it is time for another quiz. If you get the verse
incorrect, however, you are presented with a dialog that tells you the correct
text of the verse. That's it!
All verses are given a rating of "Very Easy", "Easy", "Moderate", "Hard" or
"Very Hard". By default all verses are rated as "Very Hard". However, you have
the option to set the difficulty level to be whatever you desire. Furthermore,
i-Know It will automatically adjust the rating for you if you get a verse
correct 3 times in a row.
For instance, if you get the text of a verse rated "Very Hard" correct 3 times
in a row, i-Know It will automatically change the difficulty rating of that
verse to "Hard". Conversely, if you get the text of a verse rated "Easy" wrong
3 times in a row, i-Know It will automatically increase its rating to
"Moderate".
You also have the option to add, edit or delete custom verse sets and topics.
This steady, progressive repetition over a period of time will help you to
memorize God's word and be better prepared to share your faith in season and
out.
