Interactive Math Game - Solid Shapes

Looking for a fun, educational activity to help little ones learn to identify solid shapes? Look no further than this kindergarten math game from I Know It! Children will learn to recognize three-dimensional shapes, including a cube, a cone, a sphere, a cylinder, a rectangular prism, and more in this interactive math activity. Try out this geometry game with your students and watch as they become experts on solid shapes!

Your little learners will answer a variety of math questions in this geometry lesson. They may be required to drag the cylinder into the box. Or they may be asked to simply identify the given solid shape. Alternatively, students may be asked to drag the three-dimensional objects into a T-chart based on the type of shape each object is. When students need a little extra help answering a math question, they can click on the "Hint" button. They will be shown a helpful picture with a written clue, such as "This is a rectangular prism." When little ones get an answer wrong, a detailed explanation page will show them the correct answer with an easy-to-understand explanation. Students can then learn from mistakes as they progress through the math activity.

Several handy features in this kindergarten geometry activity help students make the most of their math practice session. For example, a progress-tracker in the upper-right corner of the practice screen shows children how many questions they have answered so far in the math activity. A score-tracker lets students know how many points they have earned. In the upper-left corner of the practice screen, the speaker icon indicates the read-aloud feature. Students can click the button to have the question read out loud to them in a clear voice. This is a wonderful option for ESL/ELL students and children who excel at auditory learning.
